Yes, I’m Jealous

She has it
And I don’t

She glides through life, effortlessly
Almost as if the gears are turning for her and only her

Her half-smile opens a thousand doors
A full smile and she falls within them

Eyes on her so often she didn’t even know they could close
Her eyes have never been closed
For she has only known the beauty in the world

She is genuine and kind
It’s the worst part
Completely unaware of the pain she causes
Me.

She has it.

Sometimes I don’t even know what “It” is
All I know is that I don’t have it

And she does.
